Formed in March, 1997, Universal Precision Industries, Inc. is a privately held corporation, owned and operated by the working principals in the firm. UPI specializes in Electrical Control Systems and Instrumentation.

UPI, Inc. has many years of experience in the field of Engineering Design, Panel Fabrication, and System Integration.

Whether it is a panel to build or a complete engineering project, we pride ourselves on the ability to efficiently and effectively solve problems and deliver high quality results. Our understanding of real-world problems, as well as our ability to provide superior solutions, furnishes each of our customers with an additional competitive advantage.

Our customers are varied and belong to an array of industries such as, entertainment, chemical, food, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, citrus, water and wastewater.

John Sessa - President

Mr. Sessa has over 25 years in system installation, calibration, and service. He has programmed many PLC’s including AB, Square D, Modicon, Klockner Moeller, Idec, PLC Direct (Koyo). Mr. Sessa started up systems ranging from RO installations to complete plants. His experiences include Instrumentation, Design, and CAD services. Mr. Sessa’s experience and understanding of the Control and Instrumentation field make him a great asset to have on a project.

Frank Dressel - Vice President

Mr. Dressel has over 30 years in Shop Procedures and Management. He is an expert in the Control Panel manufacturing and fabrication handling. He has an extensive experience in developing Bill of Materials from specifications and contractual drawings. He has a wide experience with various components and construction parts. His troubleshooting abilities are second to none. His formal education and his experience make him an expert in his field.
